  • The rest, lifter, and IFC (Inside Force Canceller) are made of plastic to provide insulation and reduce distortion caused by reflections.
  • The weight section uses damping materials made of aluminum—a different material from the plastic—to absorb unwanted vibrations across a wide frequency range
  • Models with headshells—the MH-10Bs2.0 and 9Bs2.0—are also available

Design and Structure

Arm Pipe

We use hard stainless steel for the arm pipe, which has the greatest impact on sound quality. As a result, the sound has a crisp, clean attack.

Damper Structure of the Weight Section

This design employs damper materials composed of two different substances—①aluminum and ②plastic—enabling the absorption of unwanted vibrations across a wide frequency range without compromising responsiveness.

Pivot Section

If the pivot section—which is key to sound quality—has a flimsy structure, it will directly affect sound quality. Four large-diameter bearings provide firm support, preventing resonance and wobble, and ensuring smooth tracking performance.

Tone Arm Deflection Rate

We took great care to ensure the design did not result in a “wild” structure, like swinging a straight rod around. Imagine swinging an L-shaped rod—it places unnecessary torsional stress on your hand. With that in mind, we positioned a “vibration-absorbing structure” at the most precise location to effectively dampen distortion.
